The lock should now be removed. Do this for every drive that appears as locked. Find your home folder and right click it, then select Get Info. Look under the Sharing & Permissions section. If the padlock is locked then click it, enter your password if you have one and click OK. Click the + button, click on your username and click Select. Select Disk Utility from the utilities window of macOS Recovery, then click Continue. Select your harddrive in the sidebar; Click the Erase button (MAKE SURE YOU DO HAVE BACKUP) Format: Choose Mac OS Extended (Journaled) Scheme: Choose GUID Partition Map. Go back to the OS X installation guide. While Disk Utility will allow you to partition, repair, erase, and manage drives that you’ve attached and mounted on your Mac, it can also show those that are attached but currently not mounted.

The following commands only work in versions of Windows earlier than Windows XP. To lock or unlock a hard drive in Windows XP or later versions of Windows, use BitLocker or a third-party software program designed for locking and unlocking drives.
You need to open a command prompt window to unlock or lock the hard drive. In Windows, click the Start and enter cmd in the Search field, then press the Enter key.
To unlock the hard drive
The x represents the letter of the hard drive that you want to unlock. For example, if you needed to unlock the C: drive, you would type unlock c:
